Carol Smith requested I participate in the 7 Links Challenge. I told her I was too busy at first but I caved and will fit in this post today as she requested. Thanks for asking Carol!
The 7 Link Challenge instructions are to challenge five people to make a similar post. See below for the people I am nominating. Be sure to check out their blogs too!
My most beautiful post is Over 50? Seven Steps to Get Fit and Stay Active for Life Part 1 because there is a picture of me and my beloved son who talked me into being “coach dad.” The when that picture was taken is one of the pivotal moments in my life when I decided to get fit and stay healthy for the rest of my life. It was as if a switch were thrown. Thank you Joe!
My most popular post is My Top 10 Favorite Books of 2011. I guess everyone is interested in what books other people are reading to see if there is something they missed. I use my Amazon.com and Kindle to create lists of books I want to read. I usually read 2-3 at at time. When I hear of a book I should read I usually make note of it and add it to my list. I am currently reading: Jesus Calling by Sarah Young (daily devotional), Pushing to the Front by Orison Swett Marden Think, Write & Retire by Dr.Mani (third time!)
My most controversial post is 7 Links Challenge and Why I Caved because of the title and no one will agree!
My most helpful post Ask and You Shall Receive: The Most Powerful Marketing Question You Could Ever Ask Part 2 this post includes a useful instructional video explaining how to use Google Docs to create a survey to collect poll your customers about what topics they are interested in. One of my consulting clients ran with this and got 315 responses over the weekend and had surprising results. That’s helpful in my book!
The post that surprised me the most My Top 10 Favorite Business Tools this post surprised me the most because it was so fun to do and I thought it would be a quickie and it ended up taking quite a while to do and was a much longer post than expected.
The post that lacked the attention it deserved Ask and You Shall Recieve Part 1 this one was a reprint from an article from the Tony Rubleski’s Captured Mind print newsletter. It received good feedback and reviews. I will post the results one of my consulting clients got by following the formula. In looking back, I should have given it a much better title since it was a series.
The post I’m most proud of Over 50? Seven Steps to Get Fit and Stay Active for Life Part 2 I am living this post right now and am aleady making progress toward my goal. This post was the first place I publicly declared my goal to lose 20 pounds by March 20, 2012.
And nominate 5 more people to do the challenge
